Harmonic balancer won’t go on
I have a 1999 f250 v10 I’m rebuilding but when I went to put harmonic balancer on it won’t press all the way on and has a ring going around inside of it I bought a new one and it had the same problem any ideas ?

If memory serves (and it might now) - the '99 balancer was different. And no longer available. It might have been the early 00's though, I forget.
Did you compare the old and new?
