if this sounds like a stupid question let me know. I am putting a 460 in my 1977 f150 i was told that because the 460 came from a 2wheel drive truck that the powersteering pump brackets would be too close to the steering gear, which i can understand but would my 400 brackets work on the 460? if not does l and l sell certain things sepperate from their kits like i do not need an oil pan or ac brackets. and for those of you who have them how easy r fenderwell exit headers to install?i would appreciate answers to each of these questions please.

1) No , the 460 is wider than the 400, which, in turn, makes the mounting holes farther apart.
2) Yes, you can go to www.broncograveyard.com and get the peices you need. It is LandL's products, but they get some type of discount and pass some of the savings on to you. I'm sure there are other places, but, they are the only ones I've dealt with, so I know they are ok to recommend.
3) Sorry, can't help you there, maybe try the exhaust forum?
