Using the FordPass app on my phone, it used to give oil life and milage. About 6 months ago, it no longer showed oil life. Now, it just quit showing mileage. Is this normal? Its pretty much usless now.
I had the same issues for a couple of months but several weeks ago and after a FordPass app update, those features came back but lately, I lost my Health alert status feature on the app.
I noticed on my iPhone that a new FordPass update is available and it’s version 3.20.0
You might want to check your phone as well for this update.
Also, check for a SYNC 3 update on the Owner.Ford website.
I’m not saying this will solve your problems but it won’t hurt to check and update if they’re available for you.
Mine is showing everything. Sometimes Watch the app store for updates I have notices sometimes that if there is a update the app will not work. Reboot your phone works to.
Thanks guys, I dunno. My phone FordPass app says it was updated yesterday. I deleted it, and started over. Still the same. Only thing it shows is VIN, and license. No odometer, fuel, oil life etc. I rebooted phone, also, no change.
Got in the vehicle, clicked on settings, its connected to the house WIFI, says signal strong, auto updates are turned on, but says last update was in 2018. I hit the "scan for new updtates" and it did the rotating circle like its checking. After 10 minutes got tired of waiting, and shut it off and came in.
I guess its no big deal, when i drive I can see my mileage, fuel, and can check oil life in settings.

Foget about and ignore the Scan for New Updates feature in the vehicle.
Check for new SYNC 3 updates on the Owner.Ford.com website and check your phone for FordPass app updates.

Ford Pass doesn't use your Wi-Fi and doesn't really care about Sync. The Ford Pass system uses an embedded cellular modem in your vehicle. That's why it's able to tell you where your truck is located and it works as long as you're in an area with cellular coverage. That's also why you can hit the "refresh" button on the app. It goes out and finds your truck and downloads the data. Also, you don't need Navigation for it to work properly. My wife's 2019 Escape does not have Nav but Ford Pass knows where its parked. Even without Nav there's a GPS receiver in the vehicle (that's how you can set the clock using GPS time).

You’re wrong about FordPass.
Not all Ford vehicles that use FordPass will have an embedded modem in the actual vehicle.
I use FordPass with my 2016 F150 and it definitely doesn’t have the embedded modem in the vehicle.
When my vehicle is connected to a WiFi source, I can see where my F150 is located via the FordPass app.
Ford vehicles that use “Ford Connect” will have the embedded vehicle modem and it’s required.
I might be off a year but I believe Ford started equipping F150’s with Ford Connect in 2018.

I stand corrected. I didn't know that about the 2016's.
You are off by a year though. My 2017 F150 does have the modem so Ford Pass can find it no matter where it is. Sort of like a poor man's Lo-Jack.
No "oil life" on a Tesla because there's no oil to change. Scheduled maintenance section says the "check your windshield washer fluid every few months".
My 2015 F150 Lariat Screw, 501A didn't have Pass But my 2018 Lariat Screw 5001A does. 2018 Edge SEL had the dashboard but no remote start lock or unlock except with the fob. The 2020 Edge Titanium has the Works.
