I want to upgrade my tires from a 31" to 35" tires, but am not sure what I would need to do as in changing gears or upgrading anything, adjusting the computer so the MPH doesn't get all wonky.
I have a 2006 F250 6.0 that is bone stock. It's an XL model and has the crew cab, I think, whatever the hell the 4 door is, 8' bed. I plan on getting airbag suspension put on it shortly as well I forgot to mention in my original post. Though I can't remember the brand or anything else about it.
You can use Forscan to adjust the tire size to the 275/65/20 option and that should put your speedo spot on for 35s. My pickup has 35x12.5x20 Open Country MTs and the speedo is dead nuts on set for the 275/65/20.
I have 35x12.50x20’s on my 2006,CC, FX4 with no lift. The fronts just touch at full lock in the back of the week well against the fender liner. More than enough room in the rear. I didn’t change gearing or program anything. The speedometer is off maybe 3-4mph but I’m used to it. It’s hardest job is pulling a 10k lb 5th wheel and it pulls like it always did.
