Oil life question

Hello
I was hoping someone could help me out with this.
I have a 2020 F350 6.7 ccsb with 1900 miles. I snow bird in Florida so my truck hibernates through the winter. In October I had the oil and filter changed. Drove 2 miles filled the tank and drove it home and parked it in the garage. Put the battery tendered on it and said goodbye. I checked the oil life meter to make sure it was reset from the dealer.
When I started it in April the oil life meter said 50 percent. I know the oil didn't go bad and the truck was in deep sleep mode.
Does the meter look at time has well as driving habits. Should I just reset the meter.
Thanks

Yes, it tracks time as well as miles and operating conditions.

I think if I were you, I would have waited until taking it out of storage and then done the fresh oil change, not before storing it.

The OLM does take into account the time. I personally would just reset it and move on.

It is based on time as well as other factors. That time is 12 months. If you never drove the truck at all it would go to 0% within 1 year.

Thanks all
I changed the oil before storage was because I didn't want dirty oil sitting in the truck.
I will reset the meter and drive on

I would keep the IOLM where it's at, as a reminder when its been 12 months. Unless you think you’ll hit the mileage interval before that time.
