@WE3ZS if I was to install the 6.0 cooler or equivalent would I bypass the coolant radiator part or put it inline like the current setup is?

I used the $160-ish Dorman 6.0 32 row cooler on my upgrade, it's an easy upgrade and I did mine at the same time as when I did the complete trans fluid flush.
I installed an inline filter on the hot side aka before the cooler. I replace it once a year regardless of the mileage. My torque converter went out shortly after I installed the 6.0L cooler, that little filter probably saved my new cooler. The filter was packed full of a metallic mush, I wish I had taken pictures of it. I always cut the filter open and inspected to see what kind of debris I’m getting from the transmission. And it’s always this fine metallic mush that the stock filter does not catch that is in the in-line filter. IMO, it’s worth the $20/ year.
