Have you looked through the yellow pages yet? In every city/town there is usually many engine rebuilding shops. I have found that they can rebuild your engine or turn your engine in as a core and receive a rebuilt one. Most of these places can give you references and also a list of what is automatically replaced when they do a rebuild. When I was thinking of a rebuild for a 390 a place in cleveland was able to deliver a rebuild to my house and pick up my core for just over a $1000. Did not ask for a price on a 460. Might also want to look into doing the rebuild yourself with help from machine shop to do all the machne work. Its a lot of fun and good experience.
