So I bought a 1990 f350 7.3 ATS Turbo that needs a bit of work starting with the massive fuel leak from almost every injector tee. I bought a return line kit and got everything cut and replaced with the new kit. all of the hard fuel line nuts tightened down over the tees and kept the tees snug except for 2.
these two hard line nuts still tighten down completely however the injector tee is wiggly and leaks like a sieve.
any suggestions?
im sure this won’t be my last post, I have a way to go on this project.

Did the return line kit include new caps or did it just have new o-rings and hoses?
You can use wheel bearing grease or vasoline on the tops of the injectors when you install the plastic caps. They should still positively "snap" into place when you install them. Hopefully that helps your install.

thank you sir, it’s been a few days since I gave it a go. I’ll lube her up with some Vaseline and focus on the seating.
not cane with caps too but the hoses were 5/16, not to 1/4. Is that a big deal?
You need to proof read before hitting send.
It did not come with caps?
Either return line kit will work on either the 6.9 or 7.3.
6.9 is the 5/16"
7.3 is the 1/4"
When you install the Viton "O" Rings, grease then up and the top of the Injector.
Roll on the first "O" Ring into the top groove. The roll the second on over the top
of the first one. This way there isn`t the possibility of cutting the first ring by trying
to roll it past the top grove first.
Cut you hoses to length, slide them onto all 4 Caps with the clamps. Then place
all 4 on as an assembly, and click them into place.
The Hard Fuel Lines do not hold the Caps onto the Injectors. They snap into place
by the little ridges inside the caps.

I do apologize for not proof reading.

good to know that both hoses are fine.
I did not know that the caps were not held down by the hard line nut. So my problem is probably a seating one.
