Bed swap?
Hopefully straight forward swap. Gotta 1999 long bed off wrecked f250 to replace bed on my 2001 f250 long bed. Looks easy enough. I just assumed 1999- 2007(2016?) were the same?Any heads up to be aware of? Thanks

The 1999-2010 beds are all the same. In 2011 they changed slightly, with a more pronounced body line. The fuel door also changed shape. However, other than the look, the 2011-2016 bed will still fit perfectly. Most people don't seem to notice or care, looks being subjective after all. I've seen many trucks with mixed style beds.
