Tach n time

Does anyone have an old "tach n time" that they want to sell? Or better yet, have a suggestion on a dynamic timing tool for timing the 7.3 idi? I have been looking for days and nothing. I would have thought someone somewhere would have come out with a timing tool for these that isnt a fossil. Thank you in advance...no pun intended 🤣🤣

Ferret use to make a nice timing adapter that hooked up to a normal timing light. Looks like they stop making it. Look around and maybe youll find a used one on ebay.

That`s a NO NO?

Or is it just rivalry? I go back and forth to see what is going on.
Can`t get too much info.

I was just teasing. I used to do the same, but got tired of the attitudes over there so I gave up on them.

This is the one I bought and it works fine. it's from Design Technology (Tiny-Tach) in Illinois.
I got the one with both the light and the mag probe.

Yeah there are attitudes on all the Forums, ya gotta know your players.
I read on this one for a long time before I had to open my big yap and say
something, and here I am.
I read OB for a long while also, and signed up a couple months back mainly
because a Ferret Timing Meter was available, jumped on it and got it. .
Now Iam yapping over there...LOL
I just got the Timing Light off E-bay so one of these day I`ll see where this old
IDI Engine`s timing is set to.
Had her almost 7 yrs and 118K miles, and who knows when the IP and squirters
have been on there. Spedo shows 310K. But she seems to run OK.....
for being naturally exasperated.
One of these day I`ll get the R&D new Pump and Squirter`s installed I`ve been
sitting on for a few years.

The Tack N Time instrument comes up on e-bay quite often, some pretty pricey.
The OB link has an e-bay guy selling new one`s for a good price, make an offer
and seem they are getting them cheaper than the buy now price. I think the guy
picked up a bunch of them from a Military surplus buy.
