Fuel tanks?
Over 30 years ago I did a ground up restore on my '75 F250 4x4. This include making some heavy wall side fuel tanks, as the cab was replaced with one that did not use the inside tank. Life got in the way and I am just now going to try to finish getting the truck on the road. Should I dump the side tanks? There is also one I made that lives above the spare tire. Are there other viable options for tanks?

If the tanks you made have no leaks, are functional and cause no fitment issues for anything else one the truck that would take priority, then I would keep them and put them to use. In this day and age, more storage means gas available in an emergency, if needed.
