I am replacing the rear speakers in a 94 F150 extended cab. Do the rear speaker grills pop out or do I need to remove all the interior panels to get to the speakers?
LAST EDITED ON 28-Sep-00 AT 11:00 PM (EST)[p]I had all the panels out of mine and noticed that the grills are set in the panel pretty well, the metal grill is sort of folded over the plastic panel. I wouldn't think you could get the grill out without removing the panel, but then I didn't try. Would you be able to get the old speaker out and the new one in through the hole? With a little patience and care the panels come off quite easy. You may even be able to reuse the old push pins for the reinstallation but if not new ones are dirt cheap, even from a Ford dealer.
