Long story short - I was at the Carlisle, PA Swap Meet last fall and ran across a vendor who manufactured 1961-64 step side, side bed panels. He told me that they also make long bed step side panels. I lost his business card - but I am running into dead-ends performing internet searches.
Questions:
Is anyone aware of a manufacturer that can produce 8' step side bed panels ?
Some websites do sell the front panels - and make note that the front panels are different for short beds versus long beds? What would that be?
Last, is there a source that makes the wrong-bed lower rear corner patch?

I'm not aware of anyone who makes the long bed stepside/flareside panels but wish I were bcuz I need some so if you find a manufacturer post up your source if you will. I am not fluent enough to know if the wheel base changed between 2wd & 4wd & f100 & f250 & 61 to 64 so keep an eye out in that regard when looking at side panels.
I believe the f100 step/flare beds are shorter top to bottom than the f250's if so the front panels will in fact be different f100 to f250 so maybe that is the difference your literature is refering to.
Thanks.
Scott.
