As others have mentioned....take a pass on it or buy it for parts for $500 or less in my opinion.
The other thing about what looks like house hold carpeting inside the Bronco. If that Bronco was in a humid/wet environment at all....depending on how that carpeting was put in....they will retail moisture and rot/rust from the inside as well. You probably have way more rust issues then what you realize. I’d peel the carpeting back and look at it if you where serious.
If it’s helps, I just looked at x3 78 Bronco’s as a package deal close to me. All with engines, transmissions and drive train, one lifted with big tires, two with old original interiors, two rusted out imho, two usable stock frames - one decent, one custom built frame, spare 400 engine, one with sliding rear windows, tops, various dings and dents and rusted areas, one with a decent body and some new sheetmetal, etc etc etc. $3,000 Cdn / $2,400 USD. Same as the one you’re looking at - unmolested for decades and stuck in the dirt.
