SYNC 3 vs .WAV audio files?

This is sort of a make sure question....Having looked at the owners manuals online I see there is no CD player (and hasn't been for years) but SYNC 3 will play .mp3 files from USB media sticks.

Will it play .WAV files as well? I prefer the sound quality and don't want to convert all my music. I'd rather just buy more media sticks to accommodate the larger files.

I just want to be sure before I waste hours loading sticks.

Nevermind. Called my daughter over and ordered a pizza. The only problem now is keeping greasy fingers off my CD collection.

So can we assume the .WAV file worked fine?

Haven't tried it yet. She talked me into going mp3. Might as well, it's a pickup, not a concert hall. Never hear the difference anyway.

I am amazed however, at the amount of music that can be stored on one stick. I bought 2. I guess I'll give one to her, as she listened to a lot of this music as a child. My wife is an accomplished musician and music educator. we have a lot of good music around here and most of it will fit on one 32G stick. Wow. And it doesn't take that much longer to convert to mp3 than it does to copy the wav files over.

If you prefer wav, you can go with flac. Sync3 will definetly play flac files which is lossless.
