97 explorer slow crank

97 explorer slow crank

Yesterday morning wifes explorer ...97 5.0 awd had a problem when she got in the radar detector was beepin and the starter cranked slow like it had no juice...also the clock was reset to 12:00...after it started she came in and got me ..I turned it off and tryed it again ...started fine .....this morning cranked slow again same thing with clock.I had the detector unplugged.I just tested the battery and it said it was good to go?....My question Have any of you guys experienced this and could you help a man out with info....Thanks in advance for any help you can give me

You could try this to see if you have a current drain. If you do, pull the fuses to see if the light will go out.
