new security risk question
went out to the truck this morning and found the rear camera trim partially removed.......
I have a truck cap on the bed.
so the question....was this just someone that wanted to steal the rear camera...or....is there some known hotfix of dropping the tail gate by hot wiring something behind the camera trim?

I hate to hear this. Never owned a vehicle I felt like was a target for thieves until I bought my 18 250. Do other HD trucks face the same level of risk? I'm not on any of their forums, social media groups, etc.

Yes. Super Duty trucks have been the most stolen vehicles in the southern part of the US (border states) for several years. Super Duty, half ton trucks of all kinds and (oddly) Honda Accords and Camrys. But the HD/SD trucks are always the top or second to half tons.
