what the HELL
when I pulled the oil dip stick there was like pressure in the
crank case but it had one of those oil filter relocation systems
a thought anyone.
the pressurized crankcase can potentially be explained rationally based solely on thermal considerations.
ie; if the dipstick was pulled (and replaced) at night when the air *and the engine* were cold, and then the engine compartment warmed the next day (via the sun?) the thermal expansion of the air in the sealed crankcase COULD indeed cause a slight pressurization.
. . I'm not saying that is the case; but the math works to ~potentially~ explain it.
