Currently have a Retrax Pro on my truck. Recently installed a BedSlide.
Could use a couple of inches of extra clearance between the floor of the Bedslide and the cover.
Was wondering if anyone can tell me if they gained an inch or two of bed height beyond the top of the bed rail?
I've two Honda 2200 generators and need another inch to get them under the cover.
Also any pictures of your installs would be great.
I recently installed a bed slide as well and ended up replacing the tonneau cover with a camper shell. I keep a 12V fridge and some pelican cases in my bed that did't fit under the cover and the back seat real estate is too precious to be cramming stuff back there.
ARE V-Series with panel walls (no doors/windows), front & rear glass, carpet headliner, cab height.
I have a Diamondback and love it. It sits on top of the bed rails and has support members that are at the elevation of the top of the bed rail. At the corners, there are latches to keep the cover down that hang down a couple inches so you may have to plan where you set the generators. If the top of the generators are above the top of the bed rails, you may have an issue with the Diamondback interfering. It's a great cover if it gives you enough room for your needs.
here is the bed with a DiamondBack cover if this gives you a better idea on space. You really only gain a bit of space between the supports. Most of it sits about flush with top of the bed while a bit hangs lower in spots.

Appreciate the photo!
Looks like this will not help me out with additional space.
