help identifying wires for NSS

I am redoing my entire wiring in the truck. Can someone identify what the wire colors on this plug. The red is for the back up lights? the black for the starter interrupt?

thanks

On the red striped wires one is power in from the fuse box and one is out to the backup lamps. The black wires have to be for Start. Below is a diagram for a 1970 (close enough). This does not show Lamp wiring.

thank you. I used a continuity meter on the red and blue, when in park the red and blue had continuity. When i shifted out of park i lost continuity. Same thing for the reverse lights but used the black wires.

was this an accurate way to find the correct wires?

Yes it is. Good job. Actually the lamp diagram listed the backup lamp wires as black and red. But since you are using an aftermarket switch I figured the manufacturer used blue and red.
