wow

When searching for a pic of a 56 to compare to the Netherlands truck I came across this . The listing is gone from survivor cars site but there were lots of pics available when double clicking on the image . Again my only reaction is wow . This is probably the most flattering pic .

Do you remember what they were asking?

There's definitely things there that you would either love or hate, for sure. With all the effort put into the topside to build a custom show truck, I thought the lack of detail underneath was interesting. I also thought it may have been on hydraulics, with the jacked up stance and bobbed fenders, but I saw no evidence of that, either.

Yes the topside love it or not appears to be very well done but the bottom side and the interior are a whole other matter The seats appear to be wood frames with some foam , the crooked led panel , less than impressive switches with a couple of crooked philips screws holding the plastic on are but a few of the things that are immediately evident .

The seats and seating position, arm rest, etc., was the first thing I noticed. It does not appear to be comfortable at all. The rest of it, while they tried, definitely missed the mark. The switch labels gave me a chuckle, where they misspelled "heaer" leaving out the T in heater. (assuming of course that is what they were trying to spell, but I don't know what else it could be) And being stickers, it would have been an easy fix.

Check out the front disc brakes, they appear to be from a Honda Civic. Clearly more Show than Go (or Stop).

LOL, yeah, I saw that, too. If nothing else, the 9" Pinto rotors look kinda goofy in 20" wheels.

Kind of weird fast 'n furious style truck,, but sorry, the interior.. looks like someone had only a bit of glasfibre and some wood to creaate his own nightmare.. but the worst thing for me is the frint, why tehy have shortened the lower front..

I think the intent was to build a slammed show truck, like the example below, using hydraulics to raise and lower it. They just didn't do it right.

I doubt that was the intention as one of the major body mods was to bring the running boards up to the bottom of the cab and shorten the fenders to match resulting in the exact opposite of slamming . The front suspension lower control arms should be level and it appears there is some sort of spacer above the coil spring . My greatest hope is that the owner got the finished product as he wanted it and this was not a combination of compounded build errors .

I've seen that truck before , it's horrible and has some very poor workmanship in places .
That plate above the front springs is dodgy , makes you wonder what else has been half assed .
