I have a 2013 F150 Ecoboost (3.5) that is now making a grinding noise when it is in gear and rolling forward and reverse. I had the transmission replaced last summer in August. At first I thought it was the drivers side rear wheel bearing, but it seems like the noise is coming from the middle part of the truck from underneath. I put the truck in 4X4 yesterday and turned the steering wheel in both directions and the truck will not move forward without a lot of foot on the gas.

 

could be brakes, bearings, transfer case, axles or front end.... I would jack up the back end, then the front, and check each wheel rotation to see if you hear or feel a problem.. narrow it down to front or back, brakes / bearings... or transfer case.
