The Automatic Temperature Control solenoid and Manifold:
is located in the instrument panel behind the audio unit.
uses solenoid-type valves to distribute vacuum to the vacuum control motors and the heater control valve based on the EATC module settings.
Using your description and nomenclature ... nothing comes up. I know what it does, but I don't know what to call it. I'm trying to find a diagram of it.
The heater control valve is actuated by the air inlet door vacuum circuit (manual climate control) or the heater control valve vacuum control circuit (EATC). When the heater control valve is closed (full vacuum), coolant flow through the heater core is shut off and A/C cooling efficiency is increased.
The info above from the service manual is suggesting that remove and replace are your only options, and that there is no internal schematic, or diagram of the internals. Looks like it's a replace only part.

Appreciate that.
I did find a related thread for F150 so I've got a few more details. Thanks for yawls help.
Dave, what are you wanting to do with it? I have the diagram...I used it to re-route my vacuum hoses so I could control when hot coolant goes through my heater core when I want it to in summer.

I'm getting some issues with my panel-defroster air flow. Vacuum is not an issue, I have no leaks. The system changes from panel to defrost on it's own, at times... sometimes works fine with no issues. Right now I have the dash off and plan to 'forensically' check the system.
My system is the EATC with the separate solenoid & vacuum manifold. There's a self diagnosis procedure for the head unit, that I'll do today. I also have a vacuum chart for each position. If you have anything else, it would be appreciated, but right now I 'm still trouble shooting.
