Has anyone else gotten the runaround from e trailer. Last year I ordered my 5th wheel hitch. Had some issues with shipping. I thought to myself Covid. It came about a month later. On 3/10/21 I ordered a b&w 3 inch hitch they said it would ship 3/26/21. Checked my e mail today still not shipped. I called they said they have it but won’t ship until 4/14. I asked why and the guy said. If you want to pay more I can get it shipped sooner. I canceled my order. The customer service has really gone down hill. My family has ordered stuff in the past but lately they don’t care if you buy it from them or not.
I have ordered over 1k worth of stuff from them in the last month or so and have been kept up on delivery and status of the orders. Other than a poorly fitted magnaflow exhaust system [not their fault] everything has been good. Will keep using them. Cj
When everything goes smoothly, they are great. When things go south, they are a PITA. I paid to have some parts overnighted and they overnighted them. 3 days after I placed the order.
I have had nothing but good experiences with etrailer. I ordered tires and wheels for my trailer and they accidentally sent one wrong wheel, with the wrong bolt pattern. They shipped me a new one, 2 day shipping, didn't give me the run-around at all.
This is timely.
I ordered some steps and everytilhing looked good, then after several days of no progress I called and was assured I would have it by thr e end of the week.
Two days later still nothing and the messaged me back thay could not find the steps and they have more ordered and will be in next week,, this was after 10 days of waiting..
They could not gaurentee a date so I canceled the order and bought directly through Torklift.
I do have to say they were pro active once the problem was found, I just wish it didn't take a week before they admitted they didn't have it even though it showed "in stock".

I feel your pain brother. eTrailer has the goods and amazing information, videos, testimonials et al. However I end up buying the same stuff from the jungle website due to better prices and faster shipping. I tried to buy a B&W hitch from eTrailer but found the shipping to be way to long of a wait. Other resources had the same hitch without the wait; but then I discovered Facebook Marketplace! I found a bunch of used B&W hitches. Bought the 10K model for $650.00:
I have also had good experiences with eTrailer over the years. They do not charge your credit card until the item actually ships. You can call them, talk to a human, and find out if an item is really in stock or not. They can only report the status that the distributors and manufactures are telling them. I recently gave up trying to get a specific B&W chrome hitch from them, because B&W had given them an outlook of one month for the hitch to be available for each of the past three months. I ended up changing my eTrailer order to the same hitch without the chrome, which they had in stock, and which arrived after just a few days.
The supply chain disruptions are very real. I have had problems with lots of things I have ordered for my truck and my airstream trailer. eTrailer has been by far the best at communicating clearly, vs. other vendors I have used. For example, the other vendor where I had ordered the chrome b&w hitch showed the item as in stock, and charged my credit card immediately, but when I called them they claimed their distributor would not answer the phone, and they could not provide me with any status.
