I have a 2006 f250 4x4 with the 6.0 and about 36 mph it starts to vibrant but then when i lift the throttle the vibration stops and it starts back up when I get back on it, any info would help thank you
Just a few threads down a guy was talking about his doing the same but at almost twice the speed, ended up being U-joints. Did you just put a spare on or get new tires? Check the other thread. Could be tires out of balance if you lost a wheel weight.
Had this problem on the last truck I agree with Gyppo Logger. Check the drive shaft and even the center support bearing while you are down there. Block the truck and brakes off in neutral and give everything a good hard wiggle in all directions.
did all the checking u joints changed tires and still doing the same I have rev the engine to same rpm in neutral no vibration and the drive shaft is 1 piece no center bearing
I read this years ago but never tired it but thought I'd share.
Place a glass of water on the floor and as you drive then notice.... if it "sloshes" then it's the wheels/front end, if it "ripples" then it's your drive train (transmission, differential, driveshaft, axle)
