Hey everyone, Kevin here. I just bought a 1988 F250 Lariat 4x4 that I'm going to be working on so this looked like a good place to get information. I've never done any kind of restoration or revival, all my mechanical experience has been the "can't afford to pay someone and gotta have it running by Monday to get to work" variety. But I've watched a lot of YouTube videos so I think I know what's up.
This is going to be a learning experience for me and I'm really looking forward to tearing into the truck and working on it. I checked out a lot of forums and resources and it looks like this is the place to have fun, ask questions and learn more as I go along.
As for me, I'm a Navy veteran, former paramedic, truck driver, barbecue enthusiast (I owned a barbecue wagon for a few years) and generally a goofball you shouldn't take too seriously. I think life is too short to not be silly and at 52 years old I absolutely refuse to act like an adult.
