Someone else recently tracked down this very problem to a faulty coil, so check that out. How he verified it was by hanging it upside down and then driving. The problem stopped. Good place to start

Power loss due to fuel system delivery problems will usually not manifest themselves quickly, -it is more of a delayed reaction thing.

I had a similar problem. Truned out i had a spark plug wired chaffed and spaking on the header when I would make a turn. When I straightened back up the wire would shift back and power would be restored.
