Mercury Tailgate Coffee Table
I managed to find a tailgate. Good condition with no rust. However, it was converted to a table. Artist straightened it by running over it with his truck. Then glued on a bunch of flair.
Has anyone repaired one of these? Lots of creases in the metal.

Interesting idea for a coffee table. That might be hard to salvage, outside of my knowledge spectrum for sure.

Find a common Ford tailgate, cut out the Ford part, and weld in the Mercury part.

That seems like the best method given the sorry state of the tailgate. I'll weld in a Chevrolet in the old one. And then throw it away.
