AC Question

Turned the AC on a few days ago, I noticed it starts blowing from the defroster for a bit and then gradually starts blowing out the vents... Selector Switch?????
Also when I accelerate the air blows considerably less???? Vacuum leak maybe?????
Anyone experience this before???

Thanks in Advance

For safety reasons the system is designed to default to the defrost position if there is a vacuum failure (system controlled by vacuum), so it sounds like you may have a vacuum leak someplace that's affecting the vent selector operation. Is this a 4X4? If so the vacuum switch for the front hubs is a very common failure point for the vacuum system, you can cap off the inlet line to it to test the operation of the HVAC with it out of the loop.
