It could have "came out of" most anything. Heaters were an option for all Fords back then. Many times a dealer would have a stock of heaters, buying them by the lot to get a good deal, and they could sit on the shelf for years before being installed. Based on the basicness of it, the art deco styling and the script logo, I'm sure it's pre 48, and most likely pre war (WWII).

He doesn't state a year, but he does say it's Ford truck. Without a part number to verify a particular application, that was the statement I was questioning. I see it as simply a Ford accessory heater from the 40's or earlier.

There's another ebay ad with the same heater showing a date code of 1948, which supports my original supposition. I'm not sure if this is real value, but in my mind both of these folks are asking a whole bunch of money for these.

Have a few of them in inventory . The front case looks bitchen polished up . . A replacement core would be hard to find . Most likely would need to make one . .

If you need to make a core I recommend Carnegie Radiator in Carnegie, PA, bear pittsburgh. Look up on internet. They will cut the chunk you need.

The chrome ***** are 49 Ford passenger car. I expect this was the cheaper dealer installed heater in 1949.
