I've owned 3 ARE Z-series toppers. They are the best looking on the market IMO, but their build quality is about 8/10. That fiberglass flap, while wonky, has never been a problem. All 3 of them have had problems w/ the wiring harness falling down over the rear window. I pull it out, drill small holes in the aluminum flange about every 6 inches, then install small zip ties to hold it in place, never a problem again. My first one (around 2014) had the electric lock solenoid stop working and the latch cables stretched out making it hard to open, but on my second and third ones they clearly changed the latch/lock design and I had no issues. I've had other issues with the toppers than that.

Hey there, I was wondering if you'd be willing to post a photo or two of your truck and cap, I've not seen many blue jean trucks with caps on here.
