At this point, any 2022 Super Duty that has been scheduled has been assigned a “build week”, not a “production date”. Plus, that’s heavily dependent on material availabilities (including chips) and when Ford achieves “Ready to Buy” following their July 19 start of production. Let’s all be hopeful that the actual production of our trucks will fall during our “planned” build weeks.
Also, with all this uncertainty, there is no way that Ford has reported any “delivery dates”. This is likely your dealer using his experience based on past production versus actual deliveries.
Good luck!
2022 KTP Job #1 is currently scheduled to start on 7/10. Many retail orders are scheduled to start on 7/19, which is beyond the normal "ok to build" after five days of zero defects. Ford has decided to prioritize retail orders. I'm pretty confident this will all occur considering the plant had been building (and shipping) 2021 units for a couple weeks prior to the current changeover shutdown.
There is a thread on another forum "Vehicle tracking by Ford employees" where the employee has provided two types of answers to members' production date requests:
Scheduled to Week (Week -of xxx)
Scheduled to Day (month-day-year)
VIN numbers are generated at the time that an order is “Submitted to Plant” for scheduling. The initial scheduling information will show an order scheduled for a production week. Afterwards, the information will be updated to show production for a particular date. Along the process, the vehicle order status information will be updated along with the ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) at the dealership.
The lady from Ford Marketing told me they don't assign build dates, only build weeks which coincides with the dates we have all gotten which always fall on a Monday. Unless I have overlooked some......

Ford is by passing the ready to by process and was discussed in a note from Ford. This is a build date not a range that is TBD.

Curious why did you order an F250 with 5th wheel prep? It sounds like you're going to tow a 5th wheel with that truck, but you won't have enough payload to carry anything of significant size. Wouldn't it be worth the few hundred dollars to upgrade to a F350 and have no payload concerns?

Lets not open the weight police can of worms. That's already happened in 87 other threads....

I got the fifth wheel package to haul a fifth wheel on my 250. With the high cap tow package your sticker jumps to 20k lbs of towing and I forgot what the exact payload amount is but it’s enough. The tremor package diminishes the towing/payload capacity more than anything else.
