Cyclinder lapping patterns.
Cyclinder lapping pattern.
2003 f150 5.4L 2v engine rebuild 209000 miles. New intake, heads rebuilt, new oil and water pump, pistons cleaned with new rings, and new rod bearings. My only question is what is the correct cyclinder lap pattern? Is the lap pattern a chris cross pattern and why, or will a circling pattern suffice with no crossings pattern?
Appreciate any advice!
