Finally got one!!
I’ve wanted one of these trucks since I first saw one on the school bus when they were brand new and begged my old man to trade his 90 for one. Every single one I find is beat by some dumb kid into the ground or worked to death. The nice ones are going for crazy money so I kept on looking and found this little 250 for what they are asking for parts trucks. It passed inspection and everything and goes down the road at 70 beautifully. Tanks are great. Radiator support looks good frame is solid. No bondo. Solid body. I’m so happy

Great looking truck just the way it sits! Color is good...I like the cab lights, small mirrors, wheels...no white-letter billboard tires, no lift, no stripes, no hang-on crap. Pay attention to the unseen beef-and-guts workings of one of the best looking trucks Ford, or anybody, ever made.

The cab corners are original they they still have the ford stamp on them which is rare. I want to keep it reliable so that’s stock, no lift. Clean the Alcoa’s and keep it maintained. It is just what i see as the perfect pickup. I just want to give it a little clean up.
You were right. As is I get a lot of comments on it driving around. Passed inspection And is daily driven by my girlfriend who wants it for her!

A little unsolicited advice based on my experience: If you live in the salt belt, which it looks like you do from the picture, I'd recommend leave that thing parked from first snowfall until the April rains wash the roads clean again. It doesn't matter how much rust proofing you do, driving it in salt will eat it alive in just a handful of winters. Buy a rusty beater Ranger or Escape or Crown Vic or something to roll around in during winter.

I know now a lot of people are too fussy for the mess or dirt that sticks to the paint but I like that more than rust. Salt kills I hate it.
