Spare tire key?

Spare tire key?

I realized that there was no spare tire key in the glovebox, it attached to the rod that inserts into the well for the spare tire crank.

My 2012 had one, do these newer trucks (2021) not need it now? I figured to ask here before pulling out the crank rod and trying it.

Maybe if you have a fob it is in the fob like my 2015 f150

Are you asking about the key to this. If so it is the same key used to start the truck. Or the one in the key fob to unlock the door if you have a push button start. I have not seen the valet key in either my 2019 or 2020 push starts.

No they got rid of that feature thankfully. Only lock is on the bumper.
