problem

I was wondering if anyone could diagnose this for me, so every once in a while, i'll be driving and it just randomly dies, but when since it's a stick, it bump starts itself, then say you go to a stop sign a 1/4 mile down the road and you go to downshift it will die, and it will crank and crank, but if you turn the key and crank then it starts right up and works just fine. any ideas? if it helps it has the pump turned up and bigger injectors and a turbo.

Check wiring for rubs that could ground out. I had that happen to me a while back and found a bad wire next to the batter along the fender near the relay. Get it running, then start by wiggling connections and wires that might be pinched. Check the wires on the IP fuel shutoff valve. Is the tank full or close to a quarter when it happens? If low on fuel the shower head could be off and you're pulling air. Welcome.

Governor adjustment could be out of whack too or the Solenoid could be failing.

This ^

If it mostly dies on decel it's probably the governor, solenoid or loss of power would do it accelerating or deceleration..

first thing i would check is for a separated ignition switch. the switch is half metal, and half plastic. as they age the two pieces come apart. then when you hit a bump, touch the key just rite, sneeze, cough, the switch looses contact and the engine shuts off.
