It depends on the model years of each engine. Both have had different plug designs over their life span.
You should always use the plugs that Ford specifies for your engine, unless you made major modifications to it. They you would need to try different plugs to see how they look after running under your most common driving conditions.
The stock heads on my 1968 302 took the old fat plugs, while my 87 302 took skinnier plugs, and the Edelbrock aluminum heads use an even skinnier plug, and all had different reach and heat ranges
