Lifting the 2WD Excursion
So, i was looking at a 2 stage lift process, larger tires, combined with a suspension lift to achieve the desired results.
First up, currently i have 245/65/16 tires and wheels, the plan is to go to 285/75/16 (+2 inches) OR if i can find some good 18 inch wheels, 285/75/18 (+4 inches)
Secondly, this kit, which is also 2.5inch front, 2 inch back.

Am i in for any pitfalls, problems, etc, if i were to get this kit and have it installed? Depending on wheels/tires, if im working this out properly, i will end up with 4 or 6 inches of lift.

I didn't double check those tire measurements, but if they are in fact 2" different in height the new taller tires would only add 1" to the mix, the second inch would be above the axle centerline, so no extra height from that inch.
