TPMS

Anyone out there with an f450 use some type of aftermarket TPMS? Saw some for my rv but wasn't sure if anyone had real world experience adding them to the truck also. Thanks

Got a TPMS for my TT but I have a 250. Not sure what the model has to do with the question but it is a very needed item if you pull any camper.

Yeah, not sure what the truck has to do with an aftermarket system either. I just got a TST system and it can handle 115 tires. Now, granted you can have your dually and camper on it with plenty of bandwidth left. 115 tires.....I don't plan to tow an aircraft carrier anytime soon, so I doubt I will be using more than the 4 on my camper. It's a nice system, but not cheap.

Thanks guys, I will look into the kit you mentioned. I just mentioned the truck due to the 19.5 wheels just wasn't sure if they would be compatible.

OK, compatibility issue. So there are a couple of types of sensors available for this kit. Do some reading and get what you want. I have the simple valve caps on my trailer but you may want the sensors that go inside the tire itself. There are three types IIRC. Tire size doesn't matter. The TST system is programmable to alarm at a set PSI and temperature which gives it nice flexibility. No I don't work for them, lol.
