Okay this is more of a vent / buyer beware post. I purchased my truck over the summer and leds were one of the first upgrades. I have had ford leds in other trucks but my work trucks are xlts and no i am not spending the money to put ford leds in (1000+) With that being said I didn't mind spending money on a great pair of leds. (My 19 f150 had diodedynamics leds) I dont remember the price off hand but i think they were in the 300 range or so to get high/low + fog). When looking here everyone was saying go beamtech and to be honest for the cheap price while very hesitant I said why not. Got them- they look to be of similar quality to the diodes that were hundreds more. Put them in and for the first 4 or 5 months they were great. Then I had one go out. I forget the number of hours they are warrantied for but it was (years) longer than i had owned the truck. I ended up just buying another set from amazon to get here quick and they did. I did the warranty claim and it took a while but they eventually sent me a new bulb. Whatever no issues. Another month or two goes by... another bulb goes out. Now we are going to through the same process again. While I drive more than the avg person (24k in 7months) most of it is during the day and I have my DRLs disabled. So my advice would be to go with a different company. In the end although they do warranty them out which is nice - you get what you pay for and I don;t want to keep having to put in new bulbs every couple months
I used the same set in 2 different trucks (2017, 2019) but I seriously doubt I put the miles on that you did. No problems at all. Strange how the same product gives different results in different places. But it happens for sure.
I got away from the Beamtech and went to Hikari, which was more money but a better light in my opinion. But the Beamtech are still in a ziploc under the rear seat in case anything were to go wrong with any of my headlights.
Yeah seems like everybody had a good experience with them. I wonder if Ford changed something with the 20s when they changed the shape of the light if they changed anything else. Hope its not the modern version of the mid 2000s subarus when they had headlights lasting months instead of years. I ironically now have like 3 more bulbs because I like to have extra. I may keep replacing them with the ones I have stocked up(I noticed beamtech changed the design (they are slimmer) ... if it continues I'll go a different route. Just wanted to see if others were having this issue
I'm on my third year with the BeamTechs, I put them in when I saw Poncho's post on the upgrade (his fault) way back when. I'll do them again, real pleased.
I have had mine installed for over a year and a half, Dealer replaced my headlights because the coating was peeling, I thought they may say something regarding non stock bulbs. Only took 10 days to get the new headlights, that was a winner. Either way I am happy with Beamtech it has been 12K miles and no issues. I figured if they go crazy I will get another set or go a different route.

I just had the passenger side headlight housing replaced last week due to condensation/fogging. To be on the safe side I put the halogens back in before I took the truck in.
It seems like everybody has good experience with them. I changed mine out with one of the bunch of replacements I have and it works fine. They always work great for a while and then just go out. Different sides (drivers side top and passengers side bottom) light - never had any flicker. I do have plow installed and a switch that toggles between the truck lights and the plow lights. Everything works seamlessly from auto high beams to zero flicker... plow is a 2020 boss dxt - professionally installed by a boss dealer. Maybe something from this set up causes the lights to go quicker for some reason - or maybe I just got a bad batch of lights . Anyway see how long it goes until another light goes out. .... bets on which goes first passengers top or drivers bottom are the two that havent been replaced yet
