Knock Sensor?

Yes there is a Knock sensor. It is located underneath the intake/air box in the valley between the heads. I had mine replaced at a cost of abou 200 bucks plus the part. My mech. said he should have charged 500... the only other benefit is that there is plastic gaskets for the intake manifold that start to seep. If they don't get changed in a timely fasion (100K or so ) They can leak water into the piston and the rest is not pretty. Hope this helps.
