Excursion 7.3 compatible frames

I have a low mileage (135K) 2000 7.3 Excursion that has a serious case of body rot. I am looking at finding a donor vehicle that I would transplant my 7.3 into and finding alot of cheap clean V10/6.0 rigs. Is a NON 7.3 Excursion a possible option? thanks

Ill let someone else answer definitively but i believe as long as you are willing to swap over harness, electronics, etc, then anything should work. But finding a vehicle that is already a 7.3 would be less work. Finding a 7.3 Ex with a blown motor would be the holy grail for you.

MasterX is correct. Swap over all the harnesses and you are good.

6.0 would be easier, if you buy a gasser then you are swapping complete fuel systems also, including the tank lines everything
