Fuel filter location?

First time ford owner here. GM before this. Surprising, any issues with this design?
The reason I initially posted is because I’m getting a puttering noise from the tail pipe and a slight shake in the cab that doesn’t feel normal. Also feels like it doesn’t have much pick up, but maybe that’s just a v-10? Was thinking a potentially dirty fuel filter would be a good place to start and would probably need service anyway. Just got the truck used with a brand new engine under warranty in it. Any ideas?
