Door Jamb Switch Wiring

Door Jamb Switch Wiring
I have recently replaced my door jamb switches. The replacements that I received have 3 black wires that come off of them. The originals had 2 wires (green/yellow and blue/black). Did I get the wrong switches or can anyone explain to me how this gets wired?

I would assume the ground is the frame of the original switch and the 2 wires are "HOT" and complete the circuit when the door opens.
Maybe the 3rd wire on your new door switch is a ground (

I literally just replaced my driver switch last week. I got the same switch, with three plug holes and only have two wires. I didn't feel like looking around on the interwebs it figure it out so I just put it all together. It works with no problems. Just stick in and twist in place. Be sure to shut the door really slow so the switch slides in where it is supposed to be.
