Has anybody done a manual fuel shutoff to replace the standard FSS? A cable on the dash would be cool. I bet an FSS with a weak solenoid could be modified. I have a spare one...hmmm
those kits are probably NLA.... I used to get them for welding equipment ..I'd have to search my Old Miller Database for the numbers...I'll look into it and see what I can find.
the one I posted is based on the 42700 cover they didn't use the Cold advance solenoid. .. it was meant to just be a bypass IF ya needed to hand crank the genny.
the miller part numbers are obsolete and no longer listed by 1980..according to my last Service CD... I have some paper manuals in storage but it will be a while before I go digging thru them, just to find same results (Obsolete)
the unit in SB488 would be better suited for sure, as it did not use the FSS at all.
