1951 f6. Maybe
hi All. Looking for info and knowledge on the correct id of my old beauty. It has a 158” wheelbase and a listed 18000lbs capacity and 8.25x20 wheels with a 7.00” chassis. I’m sure it’s a 51 model but unsure of series. Chassis height suggests f5 but wheel size suggests f6-f7. Capacity suggest f7. Any help would be great.

The first few digits of the VIN number should tell you for sure, but I'm guessing a F6. However, 18,000 lbs does not line up with an F6 (Did you mean 16,000?). You may want to check the VIN on the frame to see if it matches the VIN on the glove box tag ans the later is easily "swapped".
Where did you find the information about it being 18,000 GVW? If it was on a tag on the truck there should be series information with it, as well. Funny though, those fenders look larger than standard, like the ones found on F7-8 trucks.
