Transmission question
I just purchased a 69 F100 with a 72 429. It needs a trans I need to know if just any c6 will bolt up or does it have to be a c6 that came off of a big block.

429 or that series (385) Not sure about the 335 series (351M, 400)

Outside of a few early 400's having a dual small block pattern, 351M/400's use the 385 big block trans pattern:
