Something to consider if the entire pouch was stolen - Usually the SecuriCode card is in there with your keyless entry code if you have a keyless entry pad. If someone has that card they have entry to your truck.
I always remove mine and keep it in another location.
Hmm...not sure if that was in mine or not. I'm not original owner. Is that something I can change? Is that a code I can somehow get from Ford in case I need it?
I'm wondering in a 2015 how the cards are read and what is posted on the screen. I have mine brand new, if it's not a waste and going to help I'd be happy to help you out. Notice I'm not going to ask you why you need backup assistance, and notice how I'm not going to tell you how to drive, I also won't tell you what I do......................Come on guys we are all great at backing up till we hit something. Just because we're all great at it doesn't mean everyone is and someone's daughter or son might need help. I have seen some over the road steering wheel holders that couldn't back up a tricycle, butttt they are out there doing the best they can trying to feed their family, can't fault them for that.
There. Fixed that for you...........there are a lot of those out there any more. And now back to our regular program.
One “cheat” that might help your wife (if you don’t already do it) is for her to grasp the steering wheel with one hand at the bottom instead of the top. At the top you turn left to make trailer go right and it might be confusing for some. At the bottom, you just push the wheel in the direction she wants the trailer to go. Might make it easier for her.
Someone pointed this out to me years ago, and it made a world of difference at the time...I've followed that technique ever since and have taught my kids to use it...and the wife, but she seems to need more help than she should, so hoping the stickers might help. Really won't know for sure till we can try it.

I don't believe the original factory code can be erased or changed. If you have the original code, you can program in a code that's more easily remembered by you. But the factory code will still be operable in addition to your new code.
If your SecuriCode card has been gone for a long time and wasn't in the truck when you got it as a used vehicle, theft in that manner probably isn't a concern. Depending on year and model, you can sometimes find the module and it will have a decal with the code on it. That's how I found the code on a 2002 Explorer that I have that came with no owner manual or way to determine the keyless entry pad code.
A dealer could probably hook it up to their IDS computer and find it for you. But the minimum fee might not be worth it to retrieve a key pad code.

Valid point. You can't keep the factory code from working, unless you take extraordinary measures.

Getting the code is easy if you have 2 keys. Cycle one key on and off 4 times( on position, not start) and then quickly switch to the second key and turn it on-off-on (1.5x) and the code will show up on your instrument panel. I did it a few days ago after adding the remote keypad to my XL/STX trim package.

On mine I can get it through settings on the screen
