engine misfire

engine misfire
just bought an 2006 e 150 with a 4.6 engine,,cats were stolen but o2 sensors still there,,having missing when using some power,,heavy miss,,but at idle with slight gas pedal touch it will smooth out,,,any ideas?

i didnt replace them yet,,,,just bought it,,and the cats had been stolen before i bought it,,,,,,,the oxygen sensors still there,cats gone,,,,,misfires heavy when power applied,,but feather the gas pedal at idle slightly?..will smooth out,,until you try to accelerate then misfire ,,,,and careful on the pedal will smooth some ,,,

That simply means there are confirmed DTC's saved in the PCM----you need to retrieve those "codes" in order to address the problems they indicate.

So it's got open headers basically. That is no good the exhaust has to be sealed up with pipe at least otherwise fresh air is mixing with the exhaust between pulses and messing up the O2 readings.
