If the outer edges are feathered the toe is excessive, if smooth camber. Those as far as I know are all it can be. Castor causes no irregular wear.

Is the spoke alignment on the steering wheel right on ? Old school used to do their own toe, straight edge (long) touching outside of tires running 3' or 5' forward or more and same with in back of tire. Hunter machine I used nine million years ago was just laser heads mounted to wheel projecting beam to calibrated board. It used to be 1/16" (toe in) or so, hard to get that accurate with an straight edge and marker.

I don't think an alignment is warranty work ( I could be wrong, it happened once before).

Ok guys, thanks...that is what I was thinking

also, my understanding there is no stock adjustment....we have to install an aftermarket adjustable brushing?

I think by what you explain this our Toe-in which I s the steering bar across between both steering knuckles. The camber, caster parts should not be necessary but to be sure I would take to a good alignment shop. It’s always best to measure everything up with a full alignment and then work on the adjustments so you can see the reports and what exactly they adjusted and to what. Simple adjustment as long as it’s straight side to side.

I would start with an alignment. Have you done an alignment before? Then rotate tires. If tires show cupping, then a set of shocks may be in order. 3 of my 4 shocks have leaks with less than 5K ( crap OE shocks ) both front and one rear

Even with a perfect alignment Ford's like to scrub the front tires. I would get it aligned again and then do a chalk test to make sure your PSIs look good.

The key thing being missed is the fact that this is a F450. Which means wide track and tighter turning radius. The outer edges will wear faster because of these two factors. Will it hurt to have it checked...no. However, the wear being described is perfectly normal for the F450.

Thanks. Never looked it up. Sounds like a decent duration to cover something that was on them.

I have 6800 hundred on mine and I am not detecting this wear for my F450.

If it were mine, I would locate a heavy truck service dept and take it there. That is where I take mine when comes to alignment and tires.

Completely agree. Four wheel alignment also checks if back and front are in line or parallel also. Spec reports are good to keep and maybe reference next time.

this is drivers side. More wear on outer than inner. Pax side the same....photo won’t up load. 7500 miles. Normal for a f-450?
